Walden Alumni Ambassador Series: How Professional and Academic Experiences Led to Teaching in Higher Education 

Eric MacMullin is a 2016 MSN – Nursing Informatics graduate, current PhD in Education – Educational Technology student, and Walden Alumni Ambassador with a broad background as a Registered Nurse (RN), college professor, and actor. While pursuing his master’s degree, Eric began teaching mental health and crisis intervention courses at Centennial College in Toronto, Canada. Since Eric started his doctoral degree, he has also expanded his teaching role to include research and scholarly writing courses.  In this video, he shares how his professional and academic experiences have helped him shape his teaching practice, style, and philosophy.
