On Thursday, July 30, at 7 pm EST, Bob Voss, entrepreneur and instructor at Dakota County Community College, delivered a one-hour webinar entitled, “Starting Your Own Business – the Other Career Choice.” Having started and operated three businesses, Bob has experienced both the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial lifestyle. In 2002, Voss was hired by Dakota County Technical College to start a new certificate program focused on Business Entrepreneurship. Voss served as the main instructor and developed all curricula as well. In 2008, he was voted National Entrepreneur Instructor of the Year by the National Association of Community Colleges for Entrepreneurship. His commitment to education and his passion for entrepreneurship have made him a sought-after speaker at dislocated worker training sessions, entrepreneur group meetings, and career development seminars.
