A Volunteer Coordinator’s Perspective: The Benefits of Volunteering in a Healthcare Setting

Louis Bailey is a 2020 Graduate of the MS in Health Education and Promotion program at Walden University. He is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities and serves as a volunteer coordinator for AccentCare, a hospice and palliative care organization. Mr. Bailey’s prior work experience also includes expertise in environmental health and community partnerships. He served as a panelist on the 2021 Walden University webinar on the distribution of environmental impacts in communities. As a trained Kidney Health Coach through the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, he also provides guidance and support to kidney donors throughout the donation process.
