A Volunteer Coordinator’s Perspective: The Benefits of Volunteering in a Healthcare Setting

Louis Bailey is a 2020 graduate of the MS in Health Education and Promotion program at Walden University. He is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities and serves as a volunteer coordinator for AccentCare, a hospice and palliative care organization. Mr. Bailey’s prior work experience also includes expertise in environmental health and community partnerships. As a trained Kidney Health Coach through the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, he also provides guidance and support to kidney donors throughout the donation process. In this video, he shares valuable insights on how to leverage volunteering to build skills and experience while making a difference in the lives of others.
